With the release of Domino Off-Line Services (DOLS), developers now have the ability to enable Domino Web applications for offline use. They can also synchronize changes between their offline and online versions. This means that browser users can now take their Domino Web applications offline — the same way Notes client users can take their Notes applications — to read and respond to e-mail or create documents in a discussion forum, for example. This article shows developers how to enable a Domino application for offline access. It shows administrators how to use DOLS tools for security management and server configuration.
