Deepen your understanding of NSF-based composite applications by building one. Get hands-on experience using two new built-in tools, Property Broker Editor in Domino Designer 8 and Composite Application Editor (CAE) in the Notes 8 Standard client, and start using the new LotusScript classes (NotesPropertyBroker and NotesProperty) and view event (OnSelect). When a user selects a document in a Notes view, the example composite application opens the document’s attachment in a Symphony component for editing. The source, a populated view, is available in a Notes application you can download at www.eVIEW.com, and the target is a standard component in Symphony, IBM Lotus’s built-in version of OpenOffice.org.
