Three UI techniques to boost the usability of your Domino Web applications
by Marcus Foerster

from THE VIEW, September/October 2007, Volume 13, Issue 5

Enhance the usability of your Web applications with three practical Notes/Domino design components: a click-and-drop JavaScript framework for rapidly populating text boxes with values from a list; an image hotspot solution based on JavaScript that works the same way in both a Web browser and a Notes client; and Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) calls from a browser to access data on a Domino server and update the browser without needing to reload the entire Web page. Get demonstrations of each technique. Files that contain the design elements and code for each demonstration are available for download from THE VIEW Web site.
