Speed up view development — A LotusScript agent to automatically create a view with fields from any form
by André Guirard

from THE VIEW, July/August 2006, Volume 12, Issue 4

In a single step, automatically create a view that includes all of the fields from one or more selected forms. Save time by deleting unwanted columns — skip the tedious tasks of repeatedly referring back to a form to find out what fields are on it, manually creating each view column, and specifying the field that it represents. This article is the latest in a series that gives you reusable, extensible LotusScript code and valuable techniques for manipulating design elements. The complete utility is available for download at THE VIEW Web site.
