Notes administrators who opt to run Notes on a Windows NT platform generally do so with the expectation that administration will be eased through the NT GUI interface and that performance that will be outstanding, given the platform’s 32-bit architecture and its ability to support a Symmetrical Multiprocessing (SMP) configuration. But setting up an NT server for Notes database replication and messaging performance is significantly different from setting the server up for its default NT file and print sharing mode.
