To integrate Domino data with an ERP system application, development teams require two things: a basic understanding of the system and applications they are connecting to, and Lotus enterprise integration tools and connectors know-how. The purpose of this article is to help with both, by way of a PeopleSoft example. First, you learn the basics of the PeopleSoft application development environment and how PeopleSoft creates and executes business processes. The article includes step-by-step examples that should help jump start your efforts to build Domino applications that can either update data or request information from an ERP system.
